Confidentiality and Student Records
No academic or personal records or personally
recognizable information about the student may be released without
prior written consent from the student. Officials and other appropriate
employees of the College who have a legitimate reason to access
the College records are exempt. The College, at its discretion,
may release directory information about current students. Directory
information, as defined by the Family Education Rights and Privacy
Act of 1974, includes names, place of birth, name of most recent
college attended, dates of attendance, part or full-time status,
and degree/certificate awarded. If a student does not wish to
have this information released, the student must submit written
notification to the registrar during the first week of classes
each academic semester.
