Drug and Alcohol Policy In conformance with the Federal Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988 and the Drug Free Schools and Community Act Amendments of 1989, the Urban College of Boston prohibits the manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possessing or use of a controlled substance in any of its buildings. The College complies with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to alcohol and illicit drugs. Violation of this policy will result in actions ranging from mandated participation in drug counseling and rehabilitation programs, to dismissal.
