Welcome to the Urban of Boston! As we begin a new and exciting academic year, I applaud your decision to continue the exciting journey of lifelong learning. All of us at the Urban College are well aware of the tremendous dedication and sacrifice it takes for you to pursue your educational goals and we stand side by side with you, ready to support your courageous efforts to succeed.

As President of the Urban College, I am pleased to report that the new academic year promises to be extremely exciting as our highly dedicated faculty and staff provide each of you with the necessary learning environment and the personal support you need to reach your educational goals. All members of our administration, faculty and staff are here to personally serve each of you as instructors, advisors, and special partners as you make education a high priority in your life. The Urban College of Boston's team approach to education is not only to meet your academic goals, but to exceed your objectives for academic and professional development.

As our college celebrates its recent accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and as we enter our eighth year as an institution of higher education serving Boston's inner-city residents, I look forward to sharing with each of you an exciting, rewarding and productive academic year. I offer you my sincere best wishes as you continue your journey to self-sufficiency and economic empowerment through education.
