This year, we are proud to honor two exceptional leaders whose work embodies the values at the heart of Urban College.
Denella J. Clark
Denella Clark’s connection to Urban College is both personal and powerful. Her mother, Pastor Pearline James, was a proud Urban College student whose legacy of resilience, faith, and commitment to community continues to inspire. Denella’s leadership and voice carry that legacy forward, making her recognition especially meaningful to the Urban College family. She is a proud Jamaican immigrant and Boston, MA resident. She has more than 30 years of experience leading and managing nonprofits in the arts education, academic medicine, youth development, and human services sectors.
Lincoln Mali
Lincoln Mali is a seasoned business leader, speaker, and author with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services sector. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer (Southern Africa) at Lesaka Technologies, a Nasdaq- and JSE-listed fintech platform advancing financial inclusion across the region. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to expanding access and opportunity—values that closely align with Urban College’s mission.
